Our Instructors Dorm is dedicated in memory of our Co-Founder Jay Swallow, as “The Roaming Buffalo Lodge.”
This building will be used during our boot camps for the Instructors to stay in, and will also be used for out of town travelers for brief overnight stays. We are happy to announce that this addition is 40% complete. We still need to have electrical work done including meters. The building also will need to have a new roof, trusses and siding which can be very costly. We have asked for donations of $5,000 per room that will provide carpeting and furnishings for each room.
We anticipate having this project complete by the end of 2015, and ready to use in 2016.
Online donations can be made by selecting the “donate” button on the home page.
To make a donation by mail: P.O. Box 97, Bixby, OK 74008.
To make a donation by credit card please call the office at: 918-366-6735 ext. 4 and ask for Kami Rush. With all donations please be sure to comment that it is to be used for the “Roaming Buffalo Lodge.” All donations are tax deductible and we are a 501c3 organization.
Blessings to all of you, and thank you for helping us honor our Apostle Dr. Swallow project!
We are very thankful for the work that has begun in Oklahoma at Two Rivers Native American Training Center. Our first team was able to work alongside several other brothers and sisters in Christ to reclaim this former mobile casino and begin the work of transforming it into an instructor's dorm at the training center. This is part of the work we do - taking back that which the enemy has used for his purposes and redeeming and restoring it for God's work. Our first day, everyone stripped out the entire interior (bathrooms, old walls and carpet, mirrors, ceiling lights, electrical floor fixtures, etc.). By the end of the week, 8 new, separate rooms were framed in with shower enclosures - along with a treated wood wrap around deck with access to new windows and exterior doors. A lot of work has been completed and more is to come. If you are a drywall hanger or finisher and want to be involved in the near future, please tell us. Below are some of the workers that served the week we were there. This training center prepares leaders to teach the Bible, worship and strategic spiritual warfare in Native American reservations and all over North America. Our relationship with Two Rivers is just beginning so if the LORD is building a curiosity in you to someday get involved, please pray for how the Father is leading you. Investing in this work will reap many, many souls for the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. The statistic tells us that only 3-5% of Native (or 1st Nations) people in North America are believers in Jesus Christ. We will want to see that change in our lifetime.” Tom Denlinger, LightShine Ministries.
Our goal is to finish this building before the June SWAT Boot Camp. We still need the plumbing, hot water heaters, heat/air units, toilets, sinks, drywall, painting, flooring, and furnishings to complete this project. We can complete this phase for approximately $5,000 a room or $40,000. Our training sessions are growing exponentially so we need this housing to continue the work God has called us to. If you know of anyone who has access to materials, or needs a place to give money for a tax deduction, this is proven good soil for sowing seed into the kingdom.
